Why should you work with me?

Because I do not think one size fits all, and I can point at the results. All my methods have not only worked to improve my own movement, but many of my clients as well. You won’t find cookie-cutter approaches when working with me. Every body is different, therefore every client of mine gets unique advice and techniques to achieve the best results for them.

I take a holistic approach to physical health using evidence-based techniques. That means targeting the root cause of your movement limitation and supporting you in building an efficient program to tackle it. If you are not happy with how your body feels or functions, I can help.

How did you get here?

Ten years of acrobatic training, then five years of study for a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Chiropractic Science. I’m Keegan, a passionate chiropractor with a heavy focus on mobility and functional movement, helping people transform their lives through better movement health.

I have been involved with movement all my life. My childhood and teenage years set a solid foundation through team sports like soccer and hockey, as well as competitive swimming and Surf Life Saving. After leaving school, I dedicated 10 years of athletic training to mastering acrobatics. The pursuit of mastering my body’s movement led me to explore many adjacent disciplines, including handbalancing, yoga, flying trapeze, juggling, firespinning, and calisthenics.

I developed a passion for movement and wanted to learn more and help others understand how to get the most out of their bodies. This led me to 5 years of study, resulting in a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Chiropractic Science. I graduated from Macquarie University in 2023. Now I leverage my knowledge of the body to help others master movement, whether that’s overcoming a painful injury or increasing their strength, flexibility, or coordination, supporting you in achieving and maintaining a healthy, balanced life.

Where does handbalancing fit in?

It is a skill I picked up over ten years of acrobatic training and never put down, and I still teach it on the side as a bit of a passion project.

It also happens to be a good teacher. Handstands demand strength, balance, mobility and body awareness at the same time, and training them for years is what taught me how much those qualities depend on each other. That is the lens I bring to a patient who is stiff, sore or stuck at a plateau.

I run handstand meetups around the Northern Beaches, and handstand coaching and classes have their own page if that is what brought you here.
