Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Keegans Movement Lab is operated by Keegan Baldwin as a sole trader, ABN 58 560 412 976. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. We respect your privacy, and this policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Keegan Baldwin is a chiropractor registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (registration CHI0002779763). As a health service provider, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to us regardless of the size of the business.
A note on scope. This policy covers this website. Your clinical records, meaning consultation notes, examination findings and treatment history, are held separately in our practice management system (Cliniko) under the clinic's own privacy arrangements, and are not collected by this website.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to write in your message.
- When you subscribe: your name and email address.
- When you book an appointment: bookings are handled by Cliniko, our practice management provider. Their booking form is embedded on this site, and the information you enter goes to Cliniko, not to this website. Cliniko stores that data in Australia.
- Automatically, as you browse: nothing. This website does not run analytics and sets no cookies of its own. The one exception is the booking widget on our contact page: it is served by Cliniko, and loading it lets Cliniko place its own cookies on your device and ask you separately about them. That happens under Cliniko's arrangements, not ours, and only on that page.
We do not collect health information through this website, and we ask you not to include health details in a website enquiry. If you need to tell us something clinical, do it at your appointment or by phone.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange your appointment.
- To send you the material you asked for, if you subscribed.
Email, and how to stop it
We only email marketing material to people who have asked for it. Every email we send identifies us and carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes one click, and it takes effect for all future marketing email.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and some of them hold or process data overseas:
| Provider | What it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cliniko | Appointment bookings | Australia |
| Hostinger | Website hosting | Australia (Sydney) |
| Kit | Email subscriptions and the emails sent to subscribers | United States — confirm from their data processing agreement at signup |
We may also disclose your information where the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We hold your information on reputable providers' systems, protected by access controls and passwords. No system online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us, and we only keep it for as long as we need it.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email hello@keegansmovementlab.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email hello@keegansmovementlab.com with the details. We will look into it and reply in writing, normally within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au, or 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
